Jameson Short Shift Ft James Adams
A series where we invite our mates to tell us what they’ve been getting up to during iso and attempt to make their own signature Jamo cocktail.
James Adams is a photographer based in Sydney. He knows a thing or two about capturing iconic moments of musicians and artists which is why here at Jameson, we like to work with James quite a lot. Seeing as there is a lull in the music scene right now, we wanted to know what he is getting up to in isolation and challenged him to make a drink.
With the extra time James is baking, cutting his hair, cooking, playing with his cat Patrick and organising any work-related things that he can given the restrictions – like getting some prints for people who are interested.
“Do I want the memory of this shitty situation, that I solely survived it? Or could it be that I look back and remember that I used this situation to improve and to create.”
James made a ‘Spicy Jamo Apple Pie’ using Jameson, fresh apple (juiced), ground cinnamon, cayenne pepper, cinnamon sticks & ice garnished with a fresh chilli. Give it a go and tag us @jameson_au in your creations.
"I want to leave a Covid legacy of my own so when I think back, I'm not thinking about the virus itself, the virus is just a catalyst to something I made of the time, something I am proud of like sausage rolls or Spicy Jamo Apple Pies."
"I hope everyone else has big plans for their Covid legacy to be better, look back, something that you are proud of and something that made you stay at home.”
