Bar Convent Berlin
Throw back to the launch of the new Jameson BarShow Experience at the biggest BarShow in Europe.
In October 2019, Jameson got involved in Bar Convent Berlin, the European biggest BarShow, attracting 15,000 bar industry professionals for 3 days with a new stand experience and a 2 hour interactive workshop.
Since its inception, Bar Convent Berlin has grown into one of the leading international Trade events for the bar and beverage Industry. Each year, representatives of the German and International bar scenes gather in Berlin to make new contacts, learn and discover new innovations during the 3 days of the fair.
With over 15 000 visitors and 56% of them being International, BCB has turned into the World’s second biggest Trade event (after Tales of the Cocktails in New Orleans).
The John Jameson & Son – Whiskey Room + General Store
In an age where it seems we are only connected virtually, Jameson launched a new experience and opened a space for people to meet, learn and share.
For the first time, Jameson opened the doors of The John Jameson & Son – Whiskey Room + General Store, an homage to one of the great institutions of Ireland: the Bar & grocer. A place where you could buy anything you needed, from groceries to hardware. Also, a bar where locals used to go after a day of work to get together and chat over a nip of whiskey.
Guests stopped by, had a laugh with our hosts, met our Storyteller from the Jameson Distillery Bow Street, learned about Irish Whiskey with our expert from our Midleton distillery, sipped delicious cocktails made exclusively with local products sourced in the Ackerpulco Farm, and made by the great Ania Kulak (Bortenfor -Oslo) and Chloe Merz (Angel’s Share – Basel). Best of all – they met new friends.
Open your eyes, you might have a chance to get invited to our General Store at the next event.
Grow Your Own Cocktail Seminar
Following the launch of Grow your Own Cocktail web series, Jameson brought the initiative to Germany and hosted a Grow your Own Cocktail seminar, discussing local sourcing, urban farming and sharing techniques about growing in a bar and flavour preservation.
