Want to know more?

Grow your Own Cocktail is a Jameson initiative encouraging bartenders to connect with their local community to source and grow their own ingredients.

Following a first great experience, learning how to grow cocktails in Dubai, we’ve decided to meet producers and bartenders in Tel Aviv.

Tel Aviv is a flavour paradise, with its Mediterranean climate ingredients are growing easily and the bar scene is booming.

We would like to thank the agronomist Elad Gutman for welcoming us in his Plants Nursery & Wine Cellars in Misgav Dov, at the South-Centre of Israel.

Shout out to Avi Azizoff for making a delicious Jameson Sour incorporating local ingredients:

  • 60ml Jameson Caskmates Stout
  • 30ml Silan – local date honey
  • 30ml fresh Lemon juice
  • 1 egg white
  • 5-6 Lemon Verbena leaves
  • Shake with ice.
  • Double strain.
  • Garnish with Lemon Verbena leaves.

Finally, massive thank you to the bartenders, who attended Andre’s Masterclass. Andre shared his own culture and brought some ingredients from Quebec. In return the bartenders involved shared their knowledge with us. Thank you for the smiles and hospitality.

Congrats to Or Bangara for making it to the Global final of Jameson Barrelmen’s Homecoming and then to the Top 5.

We hope you all enjoyed watching this episode. Stay tuned for more episodes, GROW your Own Cocktail and share with us the results on Social #GrowyourOwnCocktail
