Jameson Connects: Jessie Reyes + Friends

Co-founder of Soft Boy Records with the ‘Fresh Prince of Port Laoise’ Kean Kavanagh. Kojaque burst onto the scene with his breath-taking performance of Midnight Flower. Literally. And the rest as they say, is very recent, hyper-niche Irish music history. They do say that right?

Released to rave reviews, the Choice Prize nominated ‘Deli Daydreams’ came next. A tender exploration and heart shaking look at masculinity and loneliness. Making men worldwide stop in their tracks, pour a whiskey, and stare silently out the nearest window. OK it made others lose their sh*t on Slowthai’s European tour and at Glastonbury, SXSW, Pitchfork Music Festival Paris and much more. But you get our point. We’re trying to be evocative.

What we’re saying is Kojaque’s artistry knows no boundaries. His directorial vision proves as much. As does ‘Green Diesel’ with Luka Palm and the forthcoming ‘Town’s Dead’. A central leader of the new wave of Irish artists flooding the global scene with blistering work that emerged from a social revolution, stonewalled by late-stage capitalism*. You can join him and the Soft Boy crew w/ Boiler Room on March _ @7PM.

*Caveat – We’ve nothing against capitalism. We’re a brand for chr*st sake… Plz buy Jameson x
