14th November

Meet Barbara Tapušíková, creator of 14th November, our Cocktail of the Month.

Barbara hails from Slovakia, and is bartender at Urban House, renowned among in the know Bratislavans as one of the city’s best nights out. For this month, she created this fragrant, herby take on the pickleback full of umami flavours specifically to complement the modern European cuisine served at Urban House, with equal nods to both Slovakian and Irish ingredients.

Situated right in the centre of the historic Old Town, Urban House is a New York-style loft space for coffee by day and craft beer and cocktails by night. A multi-trick pony, it’s a popular destination for brunch and dinner, and it also moonlights as a venue for intimate gigs featuring local singer-songwriters.
