Fat Head's Brewery

Meet Our Cleveland Brewery Partner

For the third year running, Jameson Caskmates Irish Whiskey and Fat Head's Brewery are collaborating to bring a barrel-aged beer to Cleveland's neighborhoods and to the Great American Beer Festival® this September. Using whiskey barrels shipped all the way from the Jameson Distillery in Midleton, Ireland, Fat Head's Brewery has created a limited edition brew you won’t want to miss. Hear from Head of Hop Squad Sara Cleary about the brewery, their neighborhood, and the journey to the G.A.B.F.

Partnering with Jameson and GABF in 5 Words

"An exciting new GABF experience."

Tell Us About Your Neighborhood

"We have been located in the greater Cleveland suburbs since June 2012. We chose this neighborhood due to the lack of breweries and its large beer-loving customer base. It's also close to our brewpub home base. Our neighborhood of Middleburgh Heights lies on the area's first Underground Railroad route that ran from southern Ohio to Cleveland, so people could escape via boat to Canada.

Cleveland is the birthplace of Superman, the first shopping mall, rock & roll, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, the stoplight, and the modern golf ball. Our neighborhood is the hub of our community. People travel from all parts of the city and state to visit us, and that helps to bring together a group of people unlikely to meet under other circumstances."

Jameson Caskmates Food Pairing
  • Smoked Brisket
  • Jameson Caskmates Stout Edition

"With the body and flavor of this big barrel-aged stout, smoked brisket, the king of BBQ meats, is the perfect pairing. The rich coffee and chocolate flavors of our stout are a perfect complement to Jameson Caskmates Stout Edition."
