Parish Brewing Company
Meet Our Louisiana Brewery Partner
For the second year running, Jameson Caskmates Irish Whiskey and Parish Brewing Company are collaborating to bring a barrel-aged beer to Louisiana's neighborhoods and to the Great American Beer Festival® this September. Using whiskey barrels shipped all the way from the Jameson Distillery in Midleton, Ireland, Parish Brewing Company has created a limited edition brew you won’t want to miss. Hear from Cellar Frank Novak about the brewery, their neighborhood, and the journey to the GABF.
"Strong presence alongside our friends."
Irish Coffee Stout
“Barrel-aged imperial stout conditioned on coffee and vanilla. Comforting dark notes of chocolate, roast, dessert, oak, and spice.”
Try this limited edition release at The Great American Beer Festival® this September.
"Our neighborhood is Broussard, Louisiana. It’s a working class suburb of Lafayette; the Cajun and Creole culture epicenter of the world. Acadiana as a whole represents a diverse amalgamation of people, histories, and traditions. We have operated at our current location since 2011. Exiled French Roman Christians from Nova Scotia landed here in Acadiana during the 1750s, and their culture is very much alive in the region today. During the past decade, tech companies have found interest in our fiber optic infrastructure (one of the first in the nation). This tech boom has given way to Lafayette being called the 'Silicon Swamp.' The area is hedonistic at its essence; there are infinite reasons to bring together good food, good company, and good drinks. We just needed a place to hold everything. Acadiana is where culture is identity and identity is culture. Being able to expand on and advance an already-rich environment with craft beer is not only special but also an honor."
