Meet Our Chicago Brewery Partner
Hear from Revolution Brewing's Quality and Innovation Lead Marty Scott about the brewery, their neighborhood, and ideas for pairing their beer with Jameson Caskmates and food.
"Collaboration, innovation, celebration, risk-taking, fun."
"Inspired by the slang for Jameson coupled with the sweetness of vanilla. In collaboration with Jameson Caskmates Irish Whiskey, this nitro vanilla imperial stout aged in whiskey barrels boasts a silky mouthfeel from oats and nitrogenation, balancing sweetness from lactose, and a host of complexities derived from dark chocolate malt, smoked malt, de-bittered black malt, and whole vanilla beans. Four months of cold aging in Jameson barrels provides a subtle barrel character that compliments its intricacies without masking them."
"Logan Square is a vibrant historical neighborhood on Chicago’s North Side, named after politician and Civil War general John A. Logan. Today, it’s home to a diverse population of artists, artisans, musicians, and families who go to work every day alongside historical monuments and striking tree-lined boulevards. The original Revolution brewpub has been located on Milwaukee Avenue in Logan Square since our founding in 2010. At the time, we were one of the first bars/restaurants coming into a fairly dead commercial strip. Today, Logan Square is one of Chicago’s most popular places for food, drinks, and nightlife. Our neighbors were the first and most passionate customers of Revolution Brewing, and continue to be to this day. We do our best to embody the vibrant creative traits we see in our community every day."

"We recommend a dense, flourless chocolate cake to accentuate the beer’s sweetness without a sugar overload. Or have it with vanilla ice cream for the ultimate beer float! This beer is recommended alongside Jameson Caskmates Stout Edition for its smooth finish and soft mouthfeel."
