Terms and Conditions for Jameson JGL RTD Launch Competition
These terms and conditions (the “Terms”) apply to the Jameson JGL RTD Launch Competition promotion (the “Promotion”) and will prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including in-store or online advertising or promotional materials. Entry instructions are deemed to form part of these Terms. By participating in this Promotion, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these Terms. Please retain a copy of these Terms for your information.
1. Promoter: Pernod Ricard UK Limited, Building 7 Chiswick Park, 566 Chiswick High Road, London, W4 5YG. Please do not send entries to this address.
2. Eligibility: Promotion open to residents of the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland) aged 18 years and over, except employees and families of the Promoter and its affiliate companies and agencies and anyone professionally connected with the Promotion. Excludes residents of the Channel Islands and Isle of Man.
3. Promotional Period: The Promotional Period shall start at 00:00 on 1 October 2025 and end at 23:59 on 31 December 2025.
4. Entry Instructions
4.1 How to enter:
(a) purchase a promotional case of Jameson, Ginger Ale & Lime Ready-to-Drink (“JGL”) from a participating wholesaler during the Promotional Period;
(b) scan the QR code displayed on promotional materials at the wholesaler; and
(c) follow the link to the bespoke landing page and complete the entry form.
4.2 Once your details are submitted, you will be entered into the prize draw (see below for details of the Prizes).
4.3 Purchase is necessary for all entries. Entrants should retain their original itemised receipt as they may need to provide them to claim the Prize.
4.4 Only one entry per person.
5. Prizes:
5.1 There will be one (1) £250 prize awarded per participating wholesaler. Entrants must indicate the wholesaler from which they purchased their promotional JGL product on the bespoke landing page, and one winner will be drawn at random from valid entries associated with each wholesaler.
5.2 Each prize will be awarded to the business on behalf of which the individual made the qualifying purchase, not to the individual personally.
5.3 Each £250 prize will be awarded as credit uploaded by the relevant depot to the winner’s retailer account. For winners from Crown Cash & Carry and United Wholesale Scotland, the prize will be redeemed through standard purchases, with the wholesaler covering the cost and subsequently invoicing the Promoter for reimbursement up to £250.
6. Winner selection:
6.1 Winners will be selected by the Promoter using a randomised computer process. A winner will be selected for each participating wholesaler, provided at least one valid entry is received. In the event no entries are received for a given wholesaler, no prize will be awarded for that wholesaler.
6.2 A member of the verification team will contact each selected winner via email to verify eligibility, confirm whether the winner wishes to receive the prize as cash or customer credit, and obtain payment or fulfilment details.
6.3 The winner(s) shall have a period of [fourteen (14)] days in order to reply to the Promoter’s notification email in order to claim the prize(s). Should the winners fail to reply within this [fourteen (14)] day period, it shall be deemed that they have forfeited the prize and the Promoter shall select an alternative winner using the same process as was used to select the original winners.
7. General:
7.1 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries or prize claims that are lost, delayed or damaged for any reason whatsoever.
7.2 Incomplete entries/claims or those not in accordance with the entry/claim instructions will not be accepted.
7.3 Winners’ surnames and counties will be made available upon request. Full names and counties will be made available to the ASA or any other competent body upon request.
7.4 Prizes are non-transferable and no cash or date alternative is available. However, the Promoter reserves the right to award similar alternative prizes of equal or greater value in the event of circumstances outside of its control.
7.5 You agree that, to the extent permissible by law, the Promoter and its affiliates and agents assume no liability for injuries, losses or damages or any kind to property or persons, including without limitation death, resulting in whole or part, directly or indirectly, from the management of or mechanics behind the promotion, entry into the promotion, the acceptance of the prize, and any acts or omissions of the companions, winner.
7.6 In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion or the awarding of prizes, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion or these terms and conditions, at any stage, but will always endeavour to minimize the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.
7.7 The Promoter reserves the right to exclude any entries/claims that it reasonably believes to be fraudulent or based on misconduct.
7.8 By entering the promotion, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules and consent to the transfer of their personal data to the Promoter, which is also the Data Controller, for the purposes of the administration of this promotion and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented.
7.9 The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries including but not limited to asking for address, age and identity details (which they must provide within 14 days) and to refuse to award a prize or withdraw prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the promotion and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of this promotions entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or won using fraudulent means. The Promoter will be the final arbiter in any decisions and these will be binding and no correspondence will be entered into in relation this clause.
7.10 Personal data which is provided by entrants on entering the Promotion will be processed and stored in a database by the Promoter for the purpose of managing entry into the Promotion. By providing personal information, entrants consent to the processing and storage of personal information by the Promoter for this purpose. Consents can be withdrawn or amended at any time by emailing [email protected]. If an entrant withdraws consent to the storage and processing of their data for the purposes of administering the Promotion, they will also be withdrawn from the Promotion itself. 7.11 All personal data will be deleted within 30 days of all Prizes have been administered, unless specific consent has been given for the Promoter to send further communications.
7.12 This promotion and these terms are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
