This first-of-its-kind one-hour virtual reality experience will take you inside Midleton Distillery to meet the Masters, who\u2019ll give you the low-down on everything there is to know about our world-famous Irish whiskey.<\/p>\n<p>How we hear you ask? Well, we\u2019ve used a blend of standard video and state-of-the-art virtual 360\u00b0 audio visuals. Just like our luscious liquid we\u2019ve gone further here too. You\u2019ll be immersed in a 4D multi-sensory experience that is both eye-opening and mouth-watering.<\/p>\n<p>This educational experience was designed specifically for the Bar Community and caters to their need for in-depth, behind-the-scenes knowledge but anyone who wants to learn is welcome here. And the best part, it&#8217;s 100% free!<\/p>\n<p>If you already have a VR headset for your phone, or even if you don&#8217;t and you just want to learn more about Irish Whiskey, simply scroll down the page reading all instructions and watching each video as you go.<\/p>\n<p>You honestly don&#8217;t need VR glasses to enjoy the Irish whiskey education you are about to get.. but they certainly do take it to the next level so hop online and pick yourself up a VR headset to match your cell phone. Any model from the year 2020 onward should produce great results. Older models may result in a lack of visual clarity.<\/li>\n<li>We recommend you use a combination of a computer and phone throughout this experience &#8211; a computer to navigate the website (and watch the standard videos) and a phone to view the 360 VR videos.<\/li>\n<li>A strong WiFi signal or 4G also helps!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Now you\u2019ve got all the best ingredients, you\u2019re set.<\/p>\n<p><strong>STEP 1<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>SETTING UP YOUR PHONE FOR A SMOOTH EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Install the Youtube app on your Android phone. *THIS IS ESSENTIAL!*<\/li>\n<li>Increase your Android phones screen brightness to \u2018Max\u2019.<\/li>\n<li>Increase your Android phones volume to &#8216;Max&#8217; or better yet, use wireless headphones.<\/li>\n<li>Scroll down to \u2018Our Heritage\u2019 section on site, scan the QR code with your Android phone\u2019s camera and select link \u2018open in Youtube app\u2019. This is how you access the VR videos.<\/li>\n<li>Once in the video, select settings (tap screen, 3 dots, top right), select quality and set to highest quality possible (note this may be hidden under \u2018advanced\u2019. Select \u20182160\u2019 here or the highest resolution you can get).
