Bartender David Moravec of Fremont named this cocktail after the origin of the word “drawbridge.” The Bascule pays homage to the Fremont Bridge in Seattle, the busiest drawbridge in the world, with the exceptionally smooth flavors of Jameson Black Barrel and the eye-catching color of Green Chartreuse.
- 1.5 parts Jameson Black Barrel
- 1 part Sweet Vermouth
- 0.5 part Green Chartreuse
- 2 dashes of Angostura Bitters
- Combine Jameson Black Barrel, Sweet Vermouth, Green Chartreuse, and Angostura bitters in a glass
