The Classic Old Fashioned - made with a twist using Jameson Caskmates IPA. Bringing the Old Fashioned back to it's roots with sugar cubes and muddling. This cocktail was created for a Valentine's Caskmates IPA Cocktail Class at Jameson Distillery Bow St., the home of Jameson. Enjoy chilled with your 'caskmate'.
- 50ML Caskmates IPA
- 2 Sugar Cubes
- 2 Dash Angostura Bitters
- 2 Dash Orange Bitters
- Gruby Grapefruit Twist Garnish
- Add 2 sugar cubes to a rocks glass
- Add 2 dashes of Angostura Bitters
- Add 2 dashes of Orange Bitters
- Muddle together until ground
- Add 50ml of Caskmates IPA
- Add 2 cubes of ice and stir continuously
- Add another 2 cubes of ice and stir again to dilute the drink
- Add a final 2 cubes of ice
- Garnish with a Grapefruit Twist
