An almond syrup, Orgeat gives the tropical Mai Tai cocktail its distinct taste. In this cocktail, a San Diego bartender from The Beaches blends it with ginger, berries, and Jameson Black Barrel for a delicious summer drink.

  • 1 part Jameson Black Barrel
  • 0.25 parts Orgeat
  • 0.5 parts Lemon Juice
  • Shaved Ginger
  • Blackberries
  • 2 parts Ginger Beer
  • Combine Orgeat, lemon juice, shaved ginger, and blackberries in a glass and muddle
  • Add in Jameson Black Barrel
  • Shake and strain over ice
  • Top with Ginger Beer
