QUICK FIRE QUESTIONS WITH LEE TIERNAN AND GER BUCKLEY​

Our Master Cooper, Ger Buckley, has joined forces with Lee Tiernan, owner of F.K.A.B.A.M, to give us the lowdown on the intricate craftsmanship that goes into every bottle of Jameson Black Barrel. 

Lee is a London-based chef who loves high impact flavours and cooking over fire. In this latest series, Lee is taken back to his Irish roots and heads to the Midleton Distillery to meet Ger Buckley and discuss all things Jameson Black Barrel.​

As a chef, ingredients are paramount to what Lee does. And it’s a similar story with the Jameson Black Barrel production process. The accentuation of flavour that Jameson Black Barrel experiences by being matured in double charred casks is replicated by Lee, who uses fire to accentuate the flavour in his food.
