Everyone has a favourite football shirt – past and present – and we at Jameson, are no different. That’s why we have re-imagined 5 iconic football shirts and given them a Jameson twist ahead of a huge winter of football.
Collaborating with the Football Streetwear Kings, LOVER’S F.C., we are paying homage to iconic football shirts of years gone by.
Lover’s F.C, founded by Neal Heard, are synonymous with the ethos of football bringing fans together, rather than pushing them apart. Together with Jameson Irish Whiskey, Heard has brought this ethos into the collaboration collection, to celebrate the unity that the humble football shirt represents.
Combining football, fashion, and whiskey, the release sees shirts from England, Germany, Holland, Brazil, Argentina and Ireland’s historic catalogue partnered with Jameson insignia, offering football and whiskey enthusiasts alike a stylish alternative to a classic national kit.
Lovers FC was founded by Neal Heard, who is also creative director at Meyba. The brand is known for reimagining iconic jerseys from the past with a fashion-minded twist, which is exactly what they’ve done once more here, bringing back shirts from years gone by for Argentina, Brazil, England, Germany and of course the home of Jameson, Ireland.
Partnering with Lovers F.C, this collection hopes to communicate the ethos of bringing fans together to celebrate what football shirts and their heritage represents.
