Honey Glazed Pigs in a Blanket Skewers

We like to remix the classics and make your taste buds dance. With this sweet honey and smokey twist, What Willy Cook’s take on Pigs in Blankets is a guaranteed crowd pleaser and probably your new favourite savoury snack.


  • Pack of chipolatas
  • Pack of thin, streaky, smoked bacon
  • 4 tablespoons honey

Recipe Steps:

  1. Soak some skewers in water so that they do not burn too much in the oven, about 1 hour should do it. Preheat your oven to 190ºC. Get a bowl and fill it with your honey. Loosen it up with a little bit of warm water.
  2. Get your little sausages out and wrap them in the bacon. Put your skewers through as these will help you to avoid getting your fingers covered in honey when you dip the pigs in blankets. Submerge the piggy in the honey and stick it on a tray with some baking paper already laid down.
  3. Bake for 15-20 minutes, remove from the oven then tuck in once cooled a bit so you don’t burn your mouth off.
