Terms and Conditions for Jameson Ultimate Match Day Experience (the “Promotion”)
These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry and claim instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and by participating all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions and by the decision of the Promoter, which is final in all matters relating to the Promotion. Please retain a copy for your information.
1. Promoter: Pernod Ricard UK Limited, Building 7 Chiswick Park, 566 Chiswick High Road, London W4 5YG. Please do not send entries to this address.
2. Eligibility: Promotion open to residents of England, Scotland and Wales aged 18 years and over, except employees and families of the Promoter and its affiliate companies, agencies, EFL and anyone professionally connected with the Promotion. Residents of the Channel Islands and Isle of Man are not eligible.
3. The Promotional Period shall begin at 09:00 BST on 8th September 2025 and close at 23:59 BST on 6th October 2025 (“Promotional Period”). Following the end of the Promotional Period, no other entries will be permitted.
4. Entry Instructions: The Promotion is a prize draw, with a free entry route as set out below.
a. To enter, entrants must complete and submit the entry form hosted on https://www.jamesonwhiskey.com/en-gb/jameson-ultimate-matchday/, including their full name and the name of their football team.
b. There is no limit to the number of entries per football club however, an individual can only enter once.
c. The competition is open to all men’s small sided formats including 5-aside, 6-aside and 7-aside teams as well as all 11 a side football teams participating in their respective country, the highest level applicable for entry being the following:
• England: Step 7.
• Scotland: Tier 6.
• Wales: Tier 4.
d. At the end of the Promotional Period, the Promoter shall select the three (3) finalist teams using a randomised computer process from all valid entries received.
e. A public vote will then be held on the Jameson website from 00:00 on 8th October 2025 until 23:59 on 13th October 2025. The public vote will be promoted across paid social media by the EFL and Jameson. The finalist team receiving the highest number of public votes will be declared the Overall Winner. The two remaining finalists will be declared Runners Up. Winners will be the runners up.
5. Prizes: The Prizes for the Prize Draw are:
• Overall Winner Prize:
• Jameson Ultimate Match Day experience at 1 x winning team fixture, including Jameson matchday pitch branding (handshake arch, ball plinth, advertising boards), a 1st team analyst, an official referee, a TV presenter, commentator and pundit;
• The Jameson Ultimate Match Day Experience will be held on 2nd November 2025, the Winner and their team will be required to play on this date. The Winner and their team shall be responsible for all associated costs of attending the Jameson Ultimate Match Day Experience;
• 1 x EFL Legend Appearance at the Jameson Ultimate Match Day Experience;
• A Jameson branded kit for your team, to include 16 shirts, 16 shorts and 16 pairs of socks;
• A season’s supply for JGL cans (120 cans; 10 cases); and
• EFL Club Experience: A behind the scenes training ground experience at an EFL Club of the winner’s choice for up to 10 people. The experience will consist of a behind the scenes tour of the EFL clubs training ground, the chance to watch the first team train and a meet and greet opportunity with selected first team players.
No specific EFL club or players for the meet and greet are guaranteed, and the date and time of the activity will be dependent on EFL club’s training schedules, which are subject to change at late notice. The Promoter will provide three available dates for the Winner to select. The Winner shall be responsible for all associated costs of attending the EFL Club Experience.
Runner Up Prizes:
• A Jameson branded kit for your team, to include 16 shirts, 16 shorts and 16 pairs of socks; and
• 5 cases of JGL cans (60 cans; 5 cases).
6. General terms:
a. As of the start date of this promotion, each player within an entrant’s team must be 18 years old or over with a minimum of 50% of the Winning team being over 25 years old (relevant identification must be made available to the Promoter to prove this). In the event that any of the players within a Winner’s team do not meet this criteria, the Promoter will select an alternative Winner using the same process as was used to select the original Winner. The final decision is at the Promoter’s discretion.
b. A member of the Promoter’s verification team will contact the Winners via the [email protected] email in order to verify their age and collect the required details so that they can deliver the Prizes.
c. Entrants should check their Junk/Spam email inbox too.
d. Should any Winner fail to respond to the Promoter’s notification email within seven (7) days of it being sent by the Promoter, it shall be deemed that such Winner has forfeited the Prize and the Promoter shall select an alternative Winner using the same process as was used to select the original Winner.
Miscellaneous
7. Winners’ surnames and counties will be made available upon request. Full names and counties will be made available to the ASA or any other competent body upon request.
8. The Winner’s team will be expected to have photographs taken and participate in filming, editorials for press or promotion purposes of the Promoter and/or their group companies with the Winner’s team name being published across associated press and promoter owned channels. In relation to the foregoing, the Winner’s team will be expected to take part in the following (the below list is not exhaustive):
• Participate in 1 x EFL Legend promotional content photography and video shoot
• Participate in 1 x skills-based challenge with the EFL Legend to be filmed and published for promotional purposes and shall provide up to five (5) players
• Host a football match at a venue that is considered their ‘home ground’ to include 30-minute warm up, 2 x halves (length to be determined by the Promoter in line with the Winning teams respective game format), and media interviews pre- and post-match.
9. The Winner will be obligated to provide the relevant access to the Promoter’s film production and installation crew for the duration of the activity and to include a reasonable amount of set up and de rig time. In the event the Winner does not own their pitch, the Promoter will deal with all consents and licences related to ensuring the Jameson Ultimate Match Day experience goes ahead and the Promoter will be responsible for all costs associated with this. The Promoter also reserves the right to change venues for the Jameson Ultimate Match Day experience in the event they cannot obtain the relevant licences and consents, bad weather, or health and safety issues.
10. Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and no cash or date alternative is available. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize for one of its choosing which has a value the same or greater than the original Prize, in the event of circumstances outside its control making the Prize unavailable. The Prize may be subject to availability and change where expressly stated.
11. For the avoidance of doubt, this Promotion is not administered by EFL, any participating football clubs or their respective group companies and neither shall they accept any liability in connection with the operation of this Promotion of the awarding of any prize, except in relation to any applicable terms and conditions which shall apply separately to the Prize Winners and their guest(s).
12. The Winners may be expected to comply with any third-party terms and conditions that form part of the Prize.
13. The Promoter will not accept entries submitted after the end of the Promotional Period or entries that are only partially completed. Incomplete entries/claims or those not otherwise filled out or submitted in accordance with the entry/claim instructions will not be accepted. Nor will the Promoter accept entries sent in through agents, other websites or through any means which intend to deceive or manipulate fair process such as through any automated or ‘bot’ entry process or through the creation of multiple accounts.
14. You agree that, to the extent permissible by law, the Promoter and its affiliates, agents assume no liability for injuries, losses or damages or any kind to property or persons, including without limitation death, resulting in whole or part, directly or indirectly, from the management of or mechanics behind the Promotion, entry into the Promotion, the acceptance of the Prize, and any acts or omissions of the Winner.
15. In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this Promotion or the awarding of Prizes, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the Promotion or these terms and conditions, at any stage, but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.
16. By entering the Promotion, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules and consent to the transfer of their personal data to the Promoter, which is also the Data Controller, for the purposes of the administration of this Promotion and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented.
17. The Promoter reserves the right to exclude any entries/claims that it reasonably believes to be fraudulent or based on misconduct.
18. The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries including but not limited to asking for address, age and identity details (which they must provide within 7 days from the date when the verification request is sent) and to refuse to award a Prize or withdraw Prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the Promotion and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of this Promotion’s entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the Promotion or won using fraudulent means. The Promoter will be the final arbiter in any decisions and these will be binding and no correspondence will be entered into in relation this clause.
19. All personal data will be deleted within thirty (30) days of all Prizes being administered, unless specific consent has been given for the Promoter to send further communications.
20. Any personal data relating to entrants will be kept securely and used solely for the purposes of administering this Promotion and/or Prize fulfilment by the Promoter and/or by any agent of the Promoter appointed to assist with running the Promotion or administering the Prize. Use of your personal information will not include sending you electronic marketing communications unless you have opted in to receive such communications (and you are free to unsubscribe from these communications at any time in the future).
21. The Promoter’s privacy policy is available here: https://www.pernod-ricard.com/en/privacy-policy. Consents can be withdrawn or amended at any time by emailing [email protected]. If an entrant withdraws consent to the storage and processing of their data for the purposes of administering the Promotion, they will also be withdrawn from the Promotion itself.
22. By submitting your personal information when entering the Promotion, you acknowledge and agree that the Promoter may disclose your personal information (including name, address, and telephone number) as a Winner to the EFL and/or the relevant EFL club(s) in order to organise Prize fulfilment. The EFL and/or the relevant football club(s) will not otherwise use your personal details for reasons other than above, unless lawfully permitted to do so. 23. These terms and conditions are governed by English law and any Winners agree that the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of these terms and conditions.
