Terms and Conditions for the Jameson Black Card JGL Promotion (the “Promotion”)


These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. By participating in this Promotion, the Participant Bars (as defined below) will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions and the decision of the Promoter, which is final in all matters relating to the Promotion. Please retain a copy for your information.

Promoter: Pernod Ricard UK Limited, Building 7 Chiswick Park, 566 Chiswick High Road, London W4 5YG.


Participation: As part of the Promotion, your bar has been selected as one of twelve (12) Jameson partner bar located across the United Kingdom (the “Partner Bars”).


Promotional Period: The Promotional Period shall begin at 00:01 GMT on 20 March 2023 and close at 11:59 GMT on 21 June 2023.


Jameson Black Card: The Promoter has selected a total of one hundred and twenty (120) bartenders, located across the United Kingdom, to receive an industry reward card, the Jameson Black Card. The Jameson Black Card entitles its holders to purchase Double 50ml Jameson, ginger and lime (“JGL”) for the discounted price of five pounds GBP (£5.00) at the Partner Bars located in Brighton and London and three pounds and fifty pence (£3.50) at Partner Bars in all other locations during the Promotional Period. The Partner Bars must record each JGL ordered and purchased by Jameson Black Card holders during the Promotional Period using a ‘special offer’ function on their till system. The Partner Bars must ensure that they have this functionality prior to the commencement of the Promotional Period.


Promotion Support: The Promoter will provide the Partner Bars with stock support during the Promotional Period. The Promoter’s business development executive responsible for each Partner Bar’s account will check in with each Partner Bar on a regular basis during the Promotional Period in order to assess the number of JGLs purchased by Jameson Black Card holders. The business development executive has discretion to provide further 70 cl bottles of Jameson to each Partner Bar in order to replenish its stock, up to a maximum sales price value of three hundred and seventy-five GBP (£375.00) per Partner Bar. Beyond this stock support, each Partner Bar will be responsible for ensuring it maintains availability of Jameson (70cl) for the duration of the Promotional Period.


Social Media Promotion: In consideration for the promotional support that the Promoter will provide during the Promotional Period, each Partner Bar agrees to post a minimum of [three (3)] social media posts, promoting Jameson drinks in their venue. The Promoter’s business development executive for each Partner Bar will direct how each post shall be made in terms of content, imagery and the social media account to be posted on.


Data Protection: As part of this Promotion, individuals from the Partner Bars have provided the Promoter with their personal information to the Promoter’s representative(s). This information has been collected by the Promoter and processed by the Promoter for the purpose of managing the Promotion and as part of the Promoter’s ongoing business relationship with the Partner Bars. Following the end of the Promotional Period, all personal data will be deleted unless specific consent has been given for the Promoter to send further communications.   1. The Partner Bars’ employees have ultimate discretion to admit and serve Jameson Black Card holders on their premises and whether such individuals can avail of the discounted JGL offer during the Promotional Period.
  2. Jameson Black Cards are non-transferable and no cash alternative is available. However, the Promoter reserves the right to award similar alternative prizes of equal or greater value in the event of circumstances outside of its control.
  3. You agree that, to the extent permissible by law that the Promoter and its affiliates, agents assume no liability for injuries, losses or damages or any kind to property or persons, including without limitation death, resulting in whole or part, directly or indirectly, from the management of or mechanics behind the Promotion.
  4. It is deemed that you have accepted and are bound by the rules and consent to the transfer of any personal data to the Promoter, which is also the Data Controller, for the purposes of the administration of this Promotion and any other purposes to which you have consented.
  5. This Promotion and these terms are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
