The Bold Cocktail

Go Boldly with this cocktail full of dramatic flavours and whiskey intensity.

What do you need


  • 5 ml Cinnamon Syrup
  • Ice Cubes
  • 50 ml Jameson Black Barrel
  • 25 ml Lillet Rouge
  • 2 Dashes Orange Bitters
  • Orange Zest
  • ⅙ Parts Cinnamon Syrup
  • Ice Cubes
  • 1⅔ Parts Jameson Black Barrel
  • ⅚ Parts Lillet Rouge
  • 2 Dashes Orange Bitters
  • Orange Zest

How to make

  1. Make Cinnamon Syrup: 500ml water, 500g sugar 4 cinnamon sticks. Add all ingredients to a pot, bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to steep until cool. Remove cinnamon sticks, bottle and refrigerate.

  2. Stir together 50ml Jameson Black Barrel, 20ml Lillet Rouge, 5ml cinnamon syrup and 2 dashes of Orange Bitters with ice.

  3. Serve in an Old Fashioned glass.
