No. Jameson is an Irish whiskey produced, distilled and matured in Ireland. However some of our whiskeys use Bourbon barrels, such as Jameson Black Barrel.

We take pot still and fine grain whiskeys and triple distill them – with each distillation refining the spirit further to give Jameson its signature smoothness. What is Irish whiskey made from?

Irish whiskey is made from grains such as barley, wheat, and maize. Water and yeast are added to the grain, allowing it to be fermented and distilled. This mixture is then aged in wooden barrels to develop its rich flavor.

Why is Jameson triple distilled?

We triple distill our whiskey in copper stills to give Jameson its signature smoothness. Each distillation refines the whiskey, making it stronger in character, adding sweet, fruity, and nutty notes.
