A surprisingly fresh stout-based ‘Hoptail’ recipe. Topped off with orange, ginger ale and angostura bitters.

  • 35 ml Jameson Stout Edition
  • 20 ml Stout Beer
  • 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
  • 50 ml Fever Tree spiced orange ginger ale
  • Orange zest
  • Ice cubes
  • 1⅙ Parts Jameson Stout Edition
  • ⅔ Parts Stout Beer
  • 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
  • 1⅔ Parts Fever Tree spiced orange ginger ale
  • Orange zest
  • Ice cubes

Step-by-step

How to make

  1. Add all ingredients to a highball glass filled with ice.

  2. Stir gently to mix.

  3. Garnish with orange zest.

TOP TIP

Squeeze the orange peel over the drink to express the orange oils onto the drink to get that nice orange aroma.
