Sometimes, it’s fun to play fancy. This earl grey infused cocktail is equals parts sophisticated and a little complicated. But never fear, we’re here to walk you through it. Pinkies out for this one.

  • 15 ml Earl Grey Tea Syrup
  • Ice Cubes
  • 50 ml Jameson IPA Edition
  • 25 ml Lemon Juice
  • 1 Tablespoon Marmalade
  • 1 Dash Orange Bitters
  • Orange Zest
  • ½ Parts Earl Grey Tea Syrup
  • Ice Cubes
  • 1⅔ Parts Jameson IPA Edition
  • ⅚ Parts Lemon Juice
  • 1 Tablespoon Marmalade
  • Part Orange Bitters
  • Orange Zest
Step-by-step

How to make

  1. To make Earl Grey tea syrup: Add two earl grey tea bags to 250ml just boiled water and allow to steep for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags and add 250g of white sugar. Heat gently in a saucepan, stirring well until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat, allow to cool, bottle and refrigerate.

  2. Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice.

  3. Shake vigorously until chilled.

  4. Double strain into a chilled coupe glass.

  5. Garnish with an orange zest.
